Cape Coast

Cape Coast is located 150 km (93 mi.) west of Accra. The quickest and easiest way to get to there is by taxi. It will take at least a couple of hours depending on the traffic. The cheaper and safe option is to take a bus from the STC station on Ring Road.

Kumasi

Kumasi is the capital city of the Ashanti Region, in southern Ghana. It’s known as a center for Ashanti culture. In the huge, open-air Kejetia Market, stalls sell everything from glass beads to Ashanti sandals. The National Cultural Centre offers craft workshops and dance performances. It includes the Prempeh II Jubilee Museum, which displays jewelry and ceremonial clothing belonging to the 20th-century Ashanti king.

Tamale

Tamale is Ghana's third city and the capital of Northern Ghana. It is the second largest and the third most populous city in Ghana. Tamale has been voted three consecutive times by the Ghana Tourist Board as the cleanest city in Ghana and is proud of its well organized road networking in comparison to other cities and regions through Ghana.

Tema

Tema is a city on the Bight of Benin and Atlantic Coast of Ghana. It is located 25 kilometres (16 miles) east of the capital city; Accra.Tema was built on the site of a small fishing village called Torman, named for the local name of the calabash plant, "Tor", which was cultivated there. Tema is known to be the Industrial and Port City of Ghana.

Accra

Accra is the capital of Ghana, on the Atlantic coast of West Africa. Kwame Nkrumah Memorial Park honors Ghana’s first president, who helped lead the country to independence. The park contains Nkrumah’s mausoleum and a museum charting his life. Makola Market is the city’s vast, colorful bazaar. Popular seafront spots Labadi Beach and Kokrobite Beach offer golden sand and high-energy nightlife.
